Join MCJA Today!

Founded in 1977, the Midwestern Criminal Justice Association is a regional organization affiliated with the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, our national organization. The purpose of MCJA is to foster communication and collaboration among criminal justice researchers, academics, and practitioners within the Midwestern United States and beyond.

We convene an annual meeting every fall which showcases some of the important work being done across the region. We also sponsor the Journal of Crime and Justice as an outlet for high quality articles related to the field of criminal justice.

MCJA members include Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and the Canadian Provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
