Thus, candidates must possess a strong record of published scholarship, teaching, and service appropriate for a scholar at a senior rank. Candidates must have prior experience with funded extramural grants and/or contracts, including in the roles of principal or co-principal investigator.
- Preferred qualifications include demonstrable experience teaching and mentoring doctoral students.
- Prior experience with academic administration, service and/or visibility to the discipline, as well as demonstrable leadership (e.g., service as an editor-in-chief, fellowship recognized by one or more national/international scholarly associations in the field or related) will be considered in the context of the candidate’s full record.
